On behalf of the entire Idyllwild Arts Foundation community, I would like to sincerely thank everyone involved with the 22nd annual Jazz in the Pines festival. As we near our 70th anniversary, I can’t think of a more extraordinary event to represent who we are. This year’s support confirms our ongoing commitment to the arts and engaging communities across the country.

Working together with our natural partnership, the Associates of Idyllwild Arts and the Idyllwild Arts Foundation carry forward the founding principles of the Krones: that the arts unite and transform.

We are forever grateful to the Associates of Idyllwild Arts, as without your enormous volunteer manpower and coordination, this festival would not be possible.

This weekend we saw some incredible talent from legendary musicians like IAF’s very own Marshall Hawkins, Academy alum’s Casey Abrams and Evan Christopher, and newcomers to Jazz in the Pines the multi-talented Graham Dechter and jazz vocalist Rose Colella. I can’t think of a more idyllic setting than Idyllwild to immerse in music, conversation, and friendship.

The arts continue to be a vehicle to motivate, inspire, and connect diverse groups of people. I hope you’ll continue to support and engage with the Idyllwild Arts Foundation. Plan to join us for the 23rd annual Jazz in the Pines on August 20 & 21, 2016.
